Aluevaltuusto p\u00e4\u00e4tti kokouksessaan 14.5.2024, ett\u00e4 valtuustoaloitteessa esiin nostetut l\u00e4hiruoan k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 koskevat strategiset linjaukset otetaan huomioon hyvinvointialueen strategian p\u00e4ivityksess\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keskusta nosti esille, ett\u00e4 on koko maakunnan etu, kun raaka-aineet hankitaan laajasti koko maakuntamme alueelta aina kun se on mahdollista. Sama tulisi koskea kuntien ruoka- ja elintarvikehankintoja. Ruuan kotimaisuusasteen tavoitteen tulee olla mahdollisimman korkea. Ravinnolla on iso merkitys ihmisen hyvinvointiin ja terveyteen. Siksi on merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4, mist\u00e4 ruoka hankitaan ja miten se on tuotettu. Kyse on my\u00f6s arvovalinnoista, koko ketjun pellolta p\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00e4pin\u00e4kyvyydest\u00e4. Suomessa tuotettu ruoka on turvallista ja vastuullisesti tuotettua. Hankintak\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jen optimointi mahdollistaa my\u00f6s tuotannon eettisyyden ottamisen mukaan hankintakriteereihin. El\u00e4inten hyvinvointi, tuotannon etiikka ja ruokaturvallisuus ovat l\u00e4hituotannon vahvuuksia, joilla p\u00e4rj\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4n kilpailussa tuontiruualle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keskustan aluevaltuustoryhm\u00e4 esitti strategista linjausta Kanta-H\u00e4meen hyvinvointialueen ruuan ja raaka-aineiden hankinnoista. Tavoitteena tulee olla, ett\u00e4 hankinnat ovat ensisijaisesti suomalaisia elintarvikkeita ja mahdollisimman paljon oman alueen l\u00e4hiruokaa. Edellytimme my\u00f6s, ett\u00e4 ruuan laatukriteerien perusteeksi nostetaan my\u00f6s ruuan alkuper\u00e4. On kokonaistaloudellisesti koko maakunnan etu, jos kunnat ja hyvinvointialue osaavat kilpailuttaa ruoka- ja elintarvikehankinnat niin, ett\u00e4 suomalainen tuottaja voi p\u00e4rj\u00e4t\u00e4 kilpailutuksessa.
